Allium triquetrum
Common name: Three-cornered Garlic
Allium is a Latin word meaning garlic. Triquetrum is from the Latin word triquetrus meaning having three angles. It refers to the three-cornered shape of the flower stalks.
Found from Perth to Albany.
This plant can have flowering stems up to 45 centimetres tall. The flowers, produced in August and September, are white with a green stripe on each petal.
This species is originally from Europe and North Africa.
