Meaning of name:

Alexgeorgea is named after Alex George, a WA botanist. Nitens is Latin for bright or gleaming.

Distribution:

Occurs from Geraldton to Perth.

Description:

A perennial herb to 30 centimetres tall. Flowers are produced from April to June.
