Meaning of name: Callitris is from the Greek words calli, meaning beautiful, and tris, meaning three. It refers to the leaves being in whorls of three. Pyramidalis comes from the Latin word pyramis, meaning pyramid.

Distribution: Occurs from Wongan Hills to Ravensthorpe.

Description: An erect, pyramidal shaped shrub to 3 metres tall. The flowers are inconspicuous. Female cones are present on the plant all year.
