



Prasophyllum sp.
Common name: Leek Orchid
Meaning of name:
Prasophyllum is from the Greek words prason, meaning leek, and phyllum, meaning leaf.
Distribution:
Unknown.
Description:
This orchid consists of a single leaf that is up to 1 metre tall and 10 millimetres in diameter.
Notes:
We have not seen our leek orchids flower but, given the size of the leaves and location of the plants, we suspect them to be Prasophyllum elatum.
