Pterostylis recurva

Pterostylis comes from the Greek words pteron, meaning wing, and stylos, meaning pillar, referring to the winged column. The column is an organ combining the stamens and style of the flower. Recurva is from the Latin word recurvus, meaning backwards.

Occurs in the southwest of Western Australia.

As many as four flowers are held on a single stem up to 60 centimetres high between August and October.
