




Stylidium neurophyllum
Common name: Coastal Plain Triggerplant
Meaning of name:
Stylidium is from the Latin word stylus, meaning style, and the diminutive –idium. Neurophyllum is from the Greek words neuro, meaning nerve, and phyllum, meaning leaf.
Distribution:
Occurs on the Swan Coastal Plain.
Description:
A perennial herb with a flowering stem to 60 centimetres tall. The pink flowers are produced from late August to November.
