Tricoryne tenella
Common name: Tufted Yellow Rush-Lily
Tricoryne is from the Greek words treis, meaning three, and costula, meaning small rib, referring to the nut which is 3-ribbed. Tenella is from the Latin word tenellus meaning somewhat tender or dainty.
Occurs in the south of Western Australia. Also occurs in western parts of south eastern Australia.
The stems are up to 45 centimetres long. Yellow flowers are produced from September to January.
