Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This moth has been found in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Remarks: This moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 20 millimetres.

This moth has two forms – an eastern and western form. The western form is as appears on this page. The eastern form has brown forewings rather than the black and white of the western form.

This caterpillar was approximately 40 millimetres long. It eats species of Hovea.
