Meaning of name: Trifolium is from the Latin words tres, meaning three, and folium, meaning leaf. Dubium is from the Latin word dubius, meaning uncertain or doubtful.
Distribution: Widespread in disturbed areas from Geraldton to Albany.
Remarks: An annual herb with stems up to 50 centimetres long. The yellow flowers are borne from August to November. Native to Europe.
