Meaning of name: The meaning of the name Tribonanthes is from the Greek words tribon, meaning cloak and anthos, meaning flower. Australis is a Latin word meaning southern.

Distribution: Occurs from Geraldton to Albany.

Remarks: A plant to 40 centimetres tall. The white flowers are produced in August and September.
