Meaning of name: Stylidium is from the Latin word stylus, meaning style, and the diminutive –idium. Calcaratum is from the Latin word calcar, meaning spur or spurred.
Distribution: Occurs from Murchison to Esperance.
Description: An ephemeral herb with a flowering stem to 20 centimetres tall. The white or pink flowers are produced from September to November.
