Meaning of name: Podotheca is from the Greek words podos, meaning foot, and thece, meaning box. Angustifolia is from the Latin words angustus, meaning narrow, and folium, meaning leaf.

Distribution: Occurs from Shark Bay to Cape Arid.

Description: An annual herb to 20 centimetres tall. The yellow flowers are produced from August to December.
