Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This moth has been found throughout Australia.

Remarks: This moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 10 millimetres.

We have photographed this species in November.

It was accidentally introduced into Australia and is an agricultural pest.
