Meaning of name: The origin of Pheladenia is unknown. Deformis is Latin meaning departing from the correct shape.

Distribution: Widespread throughout the Southwest from north of Kalbarri to east of Israelite Bay.

Description: A single blue flower is held up to 15cm above a single leave from May to September.
