Paraoxypilus laticollis (male)

Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This species is found across southern parts of Australia.

Remarks: It is usually only the males in this genus that are fully winged. The male grows to approximately 25 millimetres long. The females to approximately 20 millimetres.

We have photographed this species in April, October and November.
