Meaning of name: Oenothera is the Latin name of a plant that induced sleep when the juice was added to wine. The meaning of glazioviana is not known.

Distribution: It is found from Perth to Albany.

Remarks: A herb to 1.6m tall. It produces yellow flowers from November to March.
