Oenosandra boisduvalii (female)Common name: Boisduval's Autumn Moth

Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This moth occurs across southern Australia.

Remarks: This moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 28 millimetres.

The males have very different markings to this female. 

We have photographed this species in April.

Associations: The caterpillars feed on the leaves of Eucalyptus sp. at night.
