Nyctemera amicus

Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This moth has been found throughout Australia.

Remarks: This moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 2 centimetres. The caterpillar is approximately 3 centimetres long.

We have photographed both the moth and caterpillar in October.
