Meaning of name: The meaning of the name is not known.

Distribution: Occurs throughout the southwest of Western Australia.

Description: An erect annual to 50 centimetres tall. The flowers are banded yellow on the outer edge and brown on the inner.

Notes: A native of South Africa. This plant was previously known as Osteospermum clandestinum and Tripteris clandestina.
