Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Found in south-west Western Australia.

Description: The larger of these photographed katydids had a body length of approximately 8 centimetres.

Notes: Marauding katydids eat other insects and will eat flowers. 

We have seen these katydids in October and December.
