Meaning of name: The meaning of the name is not known.

Distribution: Found on the eastern coastal plain near Perth. Occurs spordically throughout Western Australia.

Remarks: Grows to 50cm tall and has red coloured panicles from July to December. This plant is a native of South Africa.
