Marbled GeckoScientific name: Christinus marmoratus
Distribution: Occurs throughout the southwest of Western Australia from north of Geraldton to near the South Australian border.
Description: A nocturnal gecko that can grow to 14 centimetres long. The Marbled Gecko has blackish zigzag markings on a grey to brown background.
Notes: The tail can be regrown if lost. The regrown tail usually has a different pattern to the rest of the body.
