Lepidosperma scabrum

Meaning of name: Lepidosperma is from the Greek words lepis, meaning scale, and sperma, meaning seed. It refers to the scales surrounding the nut. The meaning of scabrum is not known.

Distribution: Occurs from Murchison River to Wubin.

Description: A herb to 1.5 metres tall. Flowers are borne in April and May.
