Leocarpus fragilis

Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Found along the coast of Western Australia from Geraldton to Albany.

Description: Clusters of reddish to purplish globular fruiting bodies. Each fruiting body is approximately 4 millimetres x 1 millimetre.

Remarks: This is not actually a fungus but a species of slime mould.
