Meaning of name: The meaning of the name is not known.

Distribution: Occurs around old settlements and road verges from Perth to Albany. However, it is spreading into adjacent bushland.

Remarks: The plant grows to 50 centimetres tall. The flowers are yellow with dark centres and are produced in August and September.
