Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This moth has been found across Australia. They also occur in New Zealand.

Remarks: This moth has a wing length (nose to wing tip) of approximately 9 millimetres.

The caterpillars of this moth live underwater. The larvae construct protective cases around their body from the leaves of water plants.

We have seen this moth in April and November.
