Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Hemisaga denticulata, the Common Sluggish Katydid, is found in coastal areas from Adelaide to north of Perth.

Description: In the photographs below, the brown katydid had a body length of approximately 8 centimetres, while the green one was about 3 centimetres.

Notes: The adults eat other insects. We have photographed this katydid in September and December.
