Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Found in the southwest of Western Australia. Also along the eastern coast of Australia.

Description: There are dark markings on the upper surface of the yellow abdominal segments.

Notes: The larvae inhabit rivers, pools, lakes and permanent ponds. The adults are vagrants.

We have photographed this species in December.
