Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Occurs around the Perth region and south to Albany.

Description: Males measure up to 15 millimetres long, females up to 27 millimetres.

Notes: This grasshopper is common in heath shrubbery and at the base of scattered tall trees where there are dead twigs and leaf litter.
