Carcinophora occidentalis 2

Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Reported from the southwest of Western Australia and around Adelaide, South Australia.

Remarks: This earwig was approximately 15 millimetres long. We have photographed this species between August and February.

This colour form was previously known as Gonoalabis michaelseni but it is now recognised as being Carcinophora occidentalis.
