Meaning of name: The meaning of the name is not known.

Distribution: Occurs throughout the southwest of Western Australia in disturbed sites.

Remarks: The flower stems are up to 60 centimetres tall. The white flowers have red or purple markings towards their base. The flowers are produced in October and November.
