Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: This caterpillar and moth has been reported in every state of Australia and around the world.

Remarks: The caterpillars grow to approximately 7 centimetres long. The butterfly can have a wingspan of approximately 9 centimetres.

This caterpillar was seen in December.
