Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Found across the southern parts of Australia.

Description: This caterpillar was approximately 4 centimetres long. The moth has a wing length of about 3 centimetres.

Notes: This species is also known as Spilosoma glatignyi.

We have photographed this species as a caterpillar in August and a moth in May.
