Castiarina gardnerae

Meaning of name: The name Castiarina is derived from that of Francois Louis Nompar de Castelnau. The meaning of gardnerae is not known.

Distribution: This beetle occurs across the southern parts of Australia.

Remarks: This beetle is approximately 10 millimetres long and was found on Jacksonia sterbergiana.

The photographs were taken in January.
