Meaning of name: Calandrinia is named after Jean Luis Calandrini, a professor of mathematics and botany at Geneva. Liniflora is from the Latin words linum, meaning flax, and floris, meaning flower.

Distribution: Along the coast from Shark Bay to Albany.

Remarks: This plant has pink to purple flowers on stems up to 200mm long from September to January.
