Caesia micranthaCommon name: Pale Grass Lily
Meaning of name: Caesia honours Federigo Cesi (1585 – 1630), Italian naturalist said to have been the first to discover the spores of ferns. Micrantha is from the Greek words micros, meaning small, and anthos, meaning flower.
Distribution: From Geraldton to Esperance.
Description: White and purple flowers held up to 35 centimetres above a tuft of dark green leaves. Flowers are produced from September to November.
