Amphipogon turbinatus
Meaning of name: Amphipogon is from the Greek words amphi, meaning on both sides, and pogon, meaning beard. Turbinatus is from the Latin word turbo, meaning a spinning top.
Distribution: Occurs from Geraldton to Israelite Bay.
Remarks: A tufted perennial to 35 centimetres tall. Flowers are produced from September to November.
