The Friends of Queens Park Bushland have the chance of a $1,000 grant, but we need your help to secure it. Bankwest list 20 groups each month and the 3 groups with the highest number of votes by the last Friday of the month receive $1,000. We are up for voting until 26 July.
To vote for us go to http://www.bankwest.com.au/about-us/in-the-community/happy-communities, choose the ‘vote now’ tab and a new window will open, click on the radio button next to the entry for Friends of Queens Park Bushland, go to the bottom of the page and click on submit. That’s it.
We’ll be using the $1,000 to buy plants to further our revegetation projects. You are welcome to come and help us plant them next winter.
You’ll be able to see if we have won by going to http://www.bankwest.com.au/about-us/in-the-community/happy-communities and selecting the ‘view recipients’ tab. The results should be available some time in August.
Where appropriate, please ask your network of friends and colleagues to vote for us. We need all the votes we can get.

We have secured $1,000 through Bankwest’s community grants. We wish to thank everyone who voted for us in July. We could not have done it without your help. The funds will be used to purchase plants to further our rehabilitation efforts.
