Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Tympanophora andreae, Andrea’s Balloon-winged Katydid, is found in the vicinity of Perth, as far south as Mandurah.

Description: This katydid had a body length of approximately 3 centimetres long.

Notes: Balloon-winged Katydids eat other insects. This katydid was seen in November.
