Meaning of name: Unknown.

Distribution: Hemisaga denticulata, the Common Sluggish Katydid, is found in coastal areas from Adelaide to north of Perth.

Description: This katydid had a body length of approximately 8 centimetres long.

Notes: The adults eat other insects. This katydid was seen in December.
