Meaning of name: The meaning of Schenkia is not known. Australis is Latin for southern.

Distribution: Found throughout Western Australia.

Remarks: A herb that grows to approximately 30cm tall. The pink flowers are borne from November to March.

This plant was previously known as Centaurium spicatum.
